We are a parent group that meets monthly throughout the school year to collaborate with administrators and staff to plan fundraisers and events that enrich, support, and connect the ENTIRE BRE community. The last year was very successful, allowing us to purchase new outdoor benches and picnic tables to enhance the school outdoor areas and hire a landscaping company to maintain the front garden area. We always need more help with events and would love to see new faces this year! Please consider attending one or more of our meetings, volunteering at an event, and/or sharing ideas on how to improve our efforts.

2024-2025 Tentative Schedule of School & PTO Events
August 8 Back to School Night
August 12 First Day of School August 17 Kindergarden Play Date--Saturday from 9am-11am (Chair: Elizabeth Poirier) Join us on the kindergarten playground and meet other BRE kindergarten parents September 3-20 Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser (Chair: Nicole Wells) A seriously yummy fundraiser! Help needed with order distribution at the end of October & daily prize cart volunteers in September—watch for sign up genius. October 25 Trunk or Treat (Chair: Rick Jessop) Wear costumes, collect candy, and enjoy food and games in the front parking lot! December 9-13 Holiday Shop (Chair: Nicole Fajardo) Students can holiday shop for family, friends, and even pets! Help is needed to help run the shop during school hours, need 4 or more volunteers every day. Email [email protected] if interested and watch for a sign up genius close to the dates! December 19 Cookies with Santa (Chair: Elizabeth Poirier & Nicole Potter) Cookies, hot cocoa, arts, crafts and a free picture with the man in red! February 7 Bonfire Night (School Event) February 7-14 Boosterthon Fun Run (School Event) February 21 Boys Night Out (Chair: Elizabeth Poirier) An exciting night out for all the boys at BRE and one adult chaperone. Volunteers needed for the night of event-watch for a sign up genius. February 22 Fairytale Ball (Chair: Elizabeth Poirier) Dance party for all the girls at BRE and one adult chaperone. Volunteers needed for the night of event-watch for a sign up genius. April 26 Spring Fling (Chairs: Elizabeth Poirier & Nicole Wells ) Adult only dinner event that includes a silent & live auction after our week long online only auction. This is our biggest annual FUNdraiser! Spring Scholastic Book Fair (School Event) Will need volunteers to work the register during the school day & help set up the fair. May 5-9 Staff Appreciation Week (Chairs: Sandi Casey, Tiffany Greer & Nicole Wells) A week-long celebration of our fantastic staff with treats and surprises. |
Meeting Schedule
Meetings (usually, not always) take place the 3rd Thursday at 6pm in the school Media Center. Details are shared prior to each meeting, and child care is provided by the local high school Key Club.
